It may alleviate symptoms associated with varicose veins, swollen and twisted veins often occurring in the legs. It can help reduce swelling and discomfort.
It is sometimes used to manage haemorrhoids, which are swollen blood vessels in the rectum or anus that can cause pain, bleeding, and discomfort. It can be prescribed to reduce oedema, particularly in cases where oedema is related to venous insufficiency or other circulatory problems. While not a primary treatment for lymphedema, it may be considered part of a comprehensive approach to managing symptoms and improving circulation in cases where lymphedema is secondary to venous insufficiency.
