Zoladex LA 10.8mg Injection uses are 

• In men, it is used in combination with other medications to treat prostate cancer, while in women, it treats advanced breast cancer.
• Used to treat endometriosis (A disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus) and uterine fibroids.
• Serves as an endometrial-thinning agent prior to uterine surgery and aids in treating infertility in women when used with other medications.

Zoladex LA 10.8mg injection belongs to luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) agonists. It works by inhibiting certain hormones, which may stimulate the growth of cancer cells. In males, it reduces testosterone levels; in females, it reduces estrogen levels.

Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Zoladex LA 10.8mg injection and reduce effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects. 

• Store Zoladex LA 10.8mg injection in the original package at room temperature ( Do not exceed 25°C)
• Keep away from children and pets
• If you miss an appointment to receive the injection, discuss it with your healthcare professional and reschedule the appointment.

Certain medications may interact with the injection, reducing its effectiveness and causing undesirable side effects.  

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them. Zoladex LA 10.8mg side effects are 

 Common:

• Acne
• Hot flushes and Sweating
• Swelling in the hands and legs
• Headache
• Depression and mood swings
• Erectile dysfunction
• Sexual dysfunction
• Pain, bruising, and bleeding
• Pain while urinating ( in men)
• Dryness or itching of the vagina
• Thinning of bones

Serious:

• Increased blood pressure
• Increased risk of Heart failure
• Increased risk of Diabetes
• Increased risk of stroke
• Injection site injury
• Severe skin reactions

• Inform your doctor about any existing health conditions before starting treatment, including heart disease, diabetes, kidney, liver, or lung disorders.

• Men experiencing difficulty urinating should notify their physician immediately.

• Avoid this medication if you are allergic to goserelin or any of its ingredients.

• The duration of treatment will depend on your individual medical condition and response to therapy.

• While using this medicine, avoid birth control pills and use alternative contraceptive methods such as condoms, diaphragms, or cervical caps.
