Apale Tablet combines two essential nutrients that work together to effectively treat and prevent anaemia caused by iron and folate deficiencies. Ferrous Ascorbate provides a bioavailable form of iron, which is crucial for haemoglobin production and oxygen transport in the blood. The presence of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) further enhances iron absorption, ensuring optimal levels of this vital mineral.

Folic Acid supports DNA synthesis and the production of red blood cells, helping stimulate healthy cell growth and maturation. This combination improves blood health by treating both iron deficiency anaemia and folate deficiency anaemia. It also prevents megaloblastic anaemia and plays a critical role during pregnancy by reducing the risk of neural tube defects, ensuring better health outcomes for both mother and baby.

Certain substances and medications can reduce the absorption of iron from Apale Tablet. Magnesium trisilicate and antacids containing carbonates inhibit iron absorption. Iron also interferes with the absorption of oral tetracycline antibiotics, so avoid taking them within two hours of each other. Always consult your healthcare provider before using Apale Tablet with other medications or supplements, and make sure to inform them about all the medicines and supplements you are taking to prevent potential interactions.

To consume Apale Tablet, take the prescribed dose exactly as directed by your healthcare provider. Take the tablet 1 or 2 hours before a meal for better absorption. Swallow the tablet whole without breaking, chewing, or crushing it. If you miss a dose, consult your healthcare provider for guidance on what to do next. Do not exceed the recommended dose. If you experience any side effects or have concerns, consult your healthcare provider immediately.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. 

Common Side Effects of Apale Tablet

• Stomach upset, including nausea, indigestion, or abdominal discomfort
• Constipation or diarrhoea
• Black stools (a normal side effect due to iron)
• Metallic taste in the mouth
• Mild gastrointestinal symptoms, such as bloating or flatulence

Rare Side Effects of Apale Tablet

• Allergic reactions, including rash, itching, or swelling
• Abdominal cramps or discomfort
• Large doses may cause irritability or insomnia

Excessive iron intake can be harmful, especially to children, and may lead to iron toxicity—keep it out of reach. If you experience allergic reactions like rash or swelling, stop using the product immediately. Iron may cause gastrointestinal issues, such as stomach upset, constipation, or diarrhoea, and it can turn stools black (a harmless side effect). 

If these symptoms persist or worsen, consult your healthcare provider. Use Apale Tablet cautiously if you have gastrointestinal disorders, iron overload conditions (like haemochromatosis), or a history of vitamin B12 deficiency.
