3 Mune Tablet is an antiretroviral drug that contains Bictegravir, Emtricitabine, and Tenofovir Alafenamide. It is used in the treatment of HIV-1 infection. It is a Human immunodeficiency virus that mainly occurs when a person's immune system is attacked and weakened by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). This infection progressively weakens the immune system, making individuals more susceptible to opportunistic infections.

Do not take this drug if allergic to 3 Mune Tablet and other ingredients. During the early stages of HIV-1 treatment, some patients may experience an inflammatory response to opportunistic infections. This condition is called immune reconstitution syndrome. It can occur after starting the drug or other antiretroviral therapies. Knowing this possibility and monitoring for any signs of worsening infections or inflammatory symptoms is necessary. Report to your doctor if you have had a history of heart failure, pancreatitis, bone disease, fractures, liver or kidney problems. Patients diagnosed with pancreatitis or at risk of pancreatitis should take this combination of medicine cautiously. During the treatment, your doctor may periodically monitor your blood counts, bone mineral density, and liver and kidney parameters to prevent serious complications. 

Adults of childbearing potential should consider using an effective contraceptive to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. If you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant, your physician might suggest an alternative treatment, as this combination regimen is not recommended during early pregnancy. Breastfeeding is not recommended due to the possible transmission of HIV-1 infection from the mother to the baby. It's necessary to inform your doctor about all your medications, including prescription, over-the-counter, and herbal supplements, to ensure no potential interactions.

Treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus 1 (HIV-1) Infection

3 Mune Tablet combines integrase strand transfer inhibitors and nucleoside, nucleotide analogue reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It increases the number of CD4 T cells and stimulates the immune system to fight against infections. Thereby, it reduces the viral load of HIV in the blood and decreases the severity of HIV infection.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with 3 Mune Tablet and can cause undesirable side effects.

• Store 3 Mune Tablet at room temperature below 30°C.

• Keep out of sight and reach of pets and children.

Take the 3 Mune Tablet as advised by your physician. Swallow the tablets whole and intact. This tablet should be taken with food. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the medicine if your doctor advises you to stop.

1. Never share needles or personal items like razors or toothbrushes, as HIV-1 can spread through blood and body fluids.

3. If you miss a 3 Mune Tablet for a day, do not double the dose — just take your regular dose the next day.

4. Store Taftrio in a dry place, away from moisture like bathrooms or sinks, and keep the container tightly closed.
