Ahabir 500mg Tablet works by inhibiting the production of hormone testosterone in the body. This can slow the growth of prostate cancer.

1. Rifampicin (Oral Route) Severe
   Avoid combination. Rifampicin can significantly reduce abiraterone levels, which may lower treatment effectiveness.

2. Phenytoin (Oral Route) Severe
   Concurrent use may decrease abiraterone concentration in the body. Alternative therapy or close monitoring is advised.

3. Carbamazepine (Oral Route) Severe
   This medicine can reduce the therapeutic effect of abiraterone by increasing its breakdown in the liver.

4. Ketoconazole (Oral Route) Moderate
   May increase abiraterone exposure. Doctors may monitor for side effects related to excess mineralocorticoid activity such as fluid retention or high blood pressure.

5. Spironolactone (Oral Route) Moderate
   Avoid combination if possible. Spironolactone may interfere with abiraterone action and reduce treatment response.

6. Prednisone or Prednisolone (Oral Route) Mild
   Commonly prescribed together. Corticosteroids help reduce abiraterone related side effects and are generally safe under medical supervision.

Ahabir 500mg Tablet medicine should always be consumed as per the direction of your physician or pharmacist. The drug should be taken by mouth. It should not be taken with food. Swallow the tablets whole with water without breaking them. Food must be eaten at least 2 hours before taking the medication and must not be eaten for at least 1 hour after taking the medicine.
