Introduction

Amphimak 50mg Injection contains the active substance Liposomal Amphotericin B. It is an antifungal antibiotic used to treat fungal infections affecting one or more deep organs. It is also prescribed for suspected fungal infections in patients with fever and neutropenia (low white blood cell count). Additionally, it is indicated for treating visceral leishmaniasis, a parasitic infection seen in certain individuals. These therapeutic areas align with broader antifungal treatment categories similar to Intazumab 420mg Injection uses, which patients often compare while exploring advanced treatment options.

Before initiating treatment, your physician may administer a small test dose of Amphimak 50mg Injection to check for allergic reactions. Do not receive this injection if you are allergic to amphotericin B or any of its components. Inform your physician if you have a history of severe allergic reactions, kidney or liver problems, or if you are undergoing dialysis. Make sure to tell your doctor if you have low potassium levels.

Amphimak 50mg Injection contains sugar in each vial; therefore, patients with diabetes should inform their doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your healthcare provider before starting treatment. Common Amphimak 50mg Injection side effects include skin rash, low potassium levels, diarrhoea, anaemia, insomnia, and shortness of breath.
