• Treatment of bacterial infection

Dalacin C 600mg injection works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, preventing the growth of bacteria. It is effective against gram-positive and anaerobic bacteria.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Dalacin C 600mg injection and can cause undesirable side effects.

• Keep out of sight and reach of pets and children.
• Do not freeze the medicine.
• Do not store above 25°C.
• Always check the expiry date before consuming it.

Dalacin C 600mg injection will be administered to you by a healthcare professional in a hospital setting. It is usually administered in muscle or vein (intravenous). Your doctor will decide the dose, route of administration, and frequency based on your disease condition and other factors.

Serious

• Bloody diarrhea

• Small blisters filled with yellow/white fluid
• Yellowing of skin and eyes
• Bleeding
• Severe, persistent, or bloody diarrhea with stomach pain or fever.
• Skin rashes, blistering, or peeling of large areas of skin.
• Jaundice (yellowing of the skin and eyes).
• Decreased blood cell count may result in bruising, bleeding, or a weakened immune system.
• Cardiac arrest
• Fluid retention

Common

• Inflammation of the veins (blood clot)
• Abnormal liver function
• Rash

• Liver and kidney patients should take Dalacin C 600mg injection cautiously and inform their doctor about all existing medical conditions.

• Do not stop the medicine unless your doctor advises.

• Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.

• Inform your doctor immediately if you experience severe, prolonged, or bloody diarrhea during or after treatment, as it may indicate bowel inflammation (pseudomembranous colitis), which can occur weeks after antibiotic use.

• Avoid breastfeeding while taking Dalacin C 600mg injection.

• Report any serious side effects to your doctor without delay.

• Your healthcare professional may adjust the dose if necessary.

• If you are scheduled for surgery or hospitalization, inform your doctor about your use of this medicine, as it may interact with certain medications and enhance their effects.
