Denotec Injection uses for the treatment of the following conditions:

• Osteoporosis

• Bone loss due to hormonal therapy in breast or prostate cancer

• Multiple myeloma (cancer affects plasma cells in the bone marrow)

• Bone metastases (cancer that spreads to bone)

By inhibiting bone resorption through its action on RANK ligands, this medication helps to strengthen bones and decrease the likelihood of fractures in individuals with osteoporosis or those at high risk. Taking Denotec 120mg Injection (denosumab) with any of the following medicines can change the effect of either of them and may increase the risk of side effects.

1. Other medicines affecting bone metabolism, such as Bisphosphonates (Injection/Oral Route), Moderate
   Use with caution.
   Concomitant use may increase the risk of severe hypocalcaemia or bone-related complications.

2. Corticosteroids such as Prednisolone or Dexamethasone (Oral/Injection Route) Moderate
   Use under medical supervision.
   Long-term steroid use together with denosumab may increase the risk of infections and bone complications such as osteonecrosis of the jaw.

3. Immunosuppressants such as Cyclosporine or Tacrolimus (Oral/Injection Route) Moderate
   Use carefully.
   Taking these medicines together may increase the risk of infections.

4. Calcium-lowering medicines such as Loop diuretics (Oral/Injection Route) Moderate
   Use with caution.
   Concomitant use may increase the risk of low blood calcium levels.

Denotec 120mg Injection should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F).

Serious:

• Osteonecrosis of the jaw (severe necrosis or death of jaw cells)

• Atypical femoral fractures

• Hypocalcemia (low blood calcium levels)

Common:
