Interaction of Durolane 60mg Injection 3ml with other drugs
Taking Durolane 60 mg Injection 3ml (haloperidol) with any of the following medicines can change the effect of either of them and may increase the risk of serious side effects.
Amiodarone, Quinidine, or other QT-prolonging medicines (Oral/Injection Route) Life-threatening
Do not use together.
Concomitant use may increase the risk of serious heart rhythm disturbances.
Levodopa or other dopaminergic medicines (Oral Route) Life-threatening
Avoid using together.
Haloperidol may reduce the effect of these medicines and worsen symptoms of Parkinson’s disease.
Carbamazepine (Oral Route) Moderate
Use with caution.
Carbamazepine may reduce haloperidol levels and decrease its effectiveness.
Fluoxetine or Paroxetine (Oral Route) Moderate
Use under medical supervision.
These medicines may increase haloperidol levels and raise the risk of side effects such as drowsiness or movement disorders.
CNS depressants such as Diazepam or alcohol (Oral/Injection Route) Moderate
Avoid or use carefully.
Concomitant use may increase sedation and respiratory depression.
Antihypertensive medicines (Oral Route) Moderate
Use with caution.
Haloperidol may enhance the blood pressure lowering effect and increase the risk of dizziness or fainting.
