It is also used to manage acute ischemic stroke, helping reduce brain damage and improve recovery outcomes. By addressing oxidative stress—a key factor in neurological damage—this medication plays a vital role in preserving nerve function and preventing further deterioration.

Uses of Edvo 1.5mg Injection

Edvo 1.5mg Injection is used to treat ALS, a nerve disorder that weakens and shrinks the muscles due to the slow destruction of nerve cells controlling muscle movements.

Therapeutic Effects of Edvo 1.5mg Injection

Edvo 1.5mg Injection contains Edaravone, a free radical scavenger that neutralizes harmful oxidative molecules. These molecules contribute to neuronal damage in conditions like ALS and stroke. By reducing oxidative stress, Edaravone helps protect neurons, slows disease progression, and improves functional recovery.

Interaction of Edvo 1.5mg Injection with other drugs

  • Immunosuppressants: May increase infection risks.
