This medicine is prescribed when other chemotherapeutic regimens were tried to which the patient did not respond adequately.
Contact your healthcare provider instantly if you develop symptoms of fever (temperature above 100.5°F), chills, cough, or burning sensation while urinating. These symptoms indicate a severe infection called sepsis.
Uses of Embremma 0.5mg Injection:
- Treatment of metastatic breast cancer and liposarcoma
How Embremma 0.5mg Injection works:
Embremma 0.5mg Injection inhibits the microtubule function and interrupts the phases of the cell cycle. It is active against drug-resistant tumor cells that overexpress P-glycoprotein and causes tumor cell death. Its mode of action is unlike other anti-cancer agents because it suppresses the microtubule growth without affecting the shortening phase. Thus it stops the growth and spread of cancer cells.
Interaction with other drugs:
Inform your doctor about any medications you are taking or have taken before the treatment.
More Information:
Store at 25°C in the original packaging. Do not freeze.
