Enclex 40mg Injection uses in the treatment of the following:

• Deep vein thrombosis
• Prophylaxis of venous thrombo-embolism
• Unstable angina
• ST-segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI)
• Prevention of blood clots during surgeries

Enclex 40mg Injection binds to the antithrombin to form a complex. Antithrombin is a protein that blocks the formation of abnormal blood clots. This drug mainly prevents the activation of factor Xa, eventually preventing clot formation. It is commonly used for the prevention and treatment of conditions associated with increased risk of blood clots. 

Some medicinal products that affect haemostasis should be discontinued before starting Enclex 40mg Injection therapy unless absolutely necessary. If a combination is required, Enclex 40mg Injection should be used with careful clinical and laboratory monitoring. 

These products include systemic salicylates, acetylsalicylic acid at anti-inflammatory doses, NSAIDs like ketorolac, other thrombolytics such as alteplase, reteplase, streptokinase, tenecteplase, urokinase, and other anticoagulants. 

Always inform your doctor about any medicines or supplements you are taking, as they may interact with Enclex 40mg Injection.

Enclex 40mg Injection storage conditions are: 

• Store Enclex 40mg Injection below 25 °C.
• Do not freeze
• Keep it out of reach from children.
• Protect them from light and moisture.

Enclex 40mg Injection will be administered to you by a healthcare professional in a hospital setting. It is usually administered as an intravenous injection into a vein. Your doctor will decide the Enclex 40mg Injection dosage, route of administration, and frequency based on your disease condition and other factors.

Enclex 40mg Injection side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Serious side effects of Enclex 40mg Injection are:

• Severe allergic reactions (swelling of lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, or swallowing)
• Too much bleeding (weakness, being pale, dizziness with headache, or unexplained swelling)
• Blockage of blood vessels (pain, redness, or swelling in the legs, or coughing up blood)
• Rash of dark red spots under the skin

Common side effects of Enclex 40mg Injection are:

• Bleeding
• Bruising more easily
• Low blood cell counts
• Headache
• Itchy red skin
• Edema
• Pain at the injection site
• Pink patches on the skin

• Enclex 40mg Injection may cause bleeding and other side effects, so ensure you get adequate rest and follow a well-balanced diet during treatment.

• Apply a cool compress at the injection site to relieve pain or irritation, and do not stop the medication suddenly without consulting your doctor to avoid an increased risk of blood clots.

• Avoid using aspirin or NSAIDs without medical advice, as they can raise the risk of bleeding when taken with Enclex 40mg Injection.

• Stay away from activities that increase bleeding risk, such as contact sports.

• Limit foods high in Vitamin K (like leafy greens, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, and soybean oil) as they can interfere with blood clotting.

• Regularly monitor your platelet count as advised by your healthcare provider.
