Introduction to Esomac D 40mg Capsule
Esomac D 40mg capsule contains an active component called domperidone and esomeprazole. Domperidone belongs to dopamine receptor antagonists, and esomeprazole belongs to proton pump inhibitors. This medication treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (acid reflux) and relieves indigestion symptoms (heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation). It also neutralizes the stomach acid and promotes easy gas passage to reduce stomach discomfort).
Inform your doctor if you are allergic to domperidone, esomeprazole, or any of the ingredients present in them. Consult your doctor if you have liver, kidney, heart, or bone disorders. The safety and effectiveness of the drug in children has yet to be established. So, you should consult your doctor before using the drug in children. Esomac D 40mg capsule may cause sleepiness and dizziness. It is advised to speak with your doctor before starting driving or handling heavy machines. Therapeutic Effects of Esomac D 40mg Capsule
Domperidone is a prokinetic (to promote movement) that acts on the upper gastrointestinal tract, increasing stomach and intestines movement and allowing the food to move easily through the stomach. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that acts by reducing stomach acid and helps in relieving acidity and heartburn.
