Replacement therapy in adults and children in primary immunodeficiency syndromes such as:

• Congenital agammaglobulinaemia and hypogammaglobulinaemia
• Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) 
• IgG subclass deficiencies with recurrent infections
• Severe combined immunodeficiency 
• Replacement therapy in myeloma or chronic lymphatic leukaemia with severe secondary hypogammaglobulinaemia and recurrent infections

Globucel 10gm Injection 100ml works by restoring the immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies. It directly binds to the Fc fragment-specific receptors and acts against inflammatory mediators. It induces cell death in B and T cells, eventually reducing inflammation and the severity of infections.

Globucel 10gm Injection 100ml is contraindicated in individuals who have had anaphylactic or severe systemic reactions to immunoglobulin or any ingredients in the formulation. Epinephrine should be available for immediate treatment of an anaphylactic reaction if it occurs. Globucel 10gm Injection 100ml is contraindicated in individuals with selective IgA deficiency or IgA deficiency with antibodies against IgA, since these individuals may have antibodies to IgA (or develop antibodies following administration of IVIG) or other blood products containing IgA

• Store Globucel 10gm Injection 100ml in a refrigerator (2°C- 8°C).
• Do not freeze.
• Before use, visually inspect the medicine. The solution must be clear or slightly opalescent and colourless or pale yellow. Do not use if the solution is cloudy or has deposits

Globucel 10gm Injection 100ml is usually administered through a vein (intravenously) by your physician in a hospital setting. Your physician will decide the correct dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. 

Side Effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Although all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

• Severe allergic reaction (rash, itching, swelling of lips, tongue, wheezing, difficulty breathing, low blood pressure with confusion, dizziness, fainting)
• Meningitis (inflammation of the brain)
• Respiratory failure
• Migraine
• High blood pressure
• Blood clot in lungs
• Rupturing of red blood cells

Common

• Rash
• Itching
• Wheezing
• Difficulty in breathing
• Swelling of the eyelids
• Fever
• Confusion
• Dizziness
• Low BP

If you have a current or past history of a kidney disorder, it is important to inform your physician. They will exercise caution and closely monitor your kidney function during treatment with Globucel 10gm Injection 100ml. Eat a well-balanced diet. You should avoid driving or handling machines if you feel dizzy or tired. Do not touch or rub your skin after injecting this medicine. Wear loose-fitting clothing to avoid discomfort.
