Introduction
Glutaliv 600 Injection contains the active constituent glutathione. It is an antioxidant medicine used to treat liver disease. It is sometimes used as a skin-lightening agent, as it can inhibit the production of melanin (the pigment that gives skin its colour) and improve skin complexion.
Contact your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms of infections or skin allergies. During the treatment, your doctor may periodically monitor your thyroid, liver and kidney parameters to prevent serious complications. Report to your doctor if you have had a history of any other medical conditions.
It is not known if Glutaliv 600 Injection interferes with pregnancy or breastfeeding. Hence, it is advisable to tell your healthcare provider if you are pregnant, think you could be pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to have a baby. Interaction of Glutaliv 600 Injection with other drugs
Chemotherapy Medicines (Severe)
High-dose antioxidants like glutathione may reduce the effectiveness of certain chemotherapy drugs. Use together only under oncologist supervision.Acetaminophen / Paracetamol (Moderate)
Glutathione may influence liver metabolism of paracetamol, potentially reducing toxicity but also altering drug clearance. Monitor as advised by your doctor.Antidiabetic Medicines (Moderate)
Glutathione may have minor effects on insulin sensitivity. Blood sugar should be monitored if used with insulin or oral hypoglycemics.Anticoagulants (Moderate)
