Introduction to Mito 40mg Injection

Mito 40mg injection is an antimetabolite drug belonging to the class of alkaloids cytotoxic agents, containing the active ingredient Mitomycin. It is used to treat certain types of cancer of the breast, pancreas, lungs, and stomach. This injection is used alone or in combination with other anti-cancer medicines in combination with chemotherapy.

The common side effects that are likely to occur with this medicine are nausea, vomiting, tiredness, bruising, shortness of breath, and numbness. Other serious side effects include swelling of lips, severe lung disease, and kidney problems. Inform your physician if you face any of the symptoms. It is given right away or later with anticancer medicines.

Before taking this injection, please inform your doctor if you have been recently vaccinated or if you have any medical conditions especially kidney, blood or liver diseases or breathing disorders. This drug can lead to blood disorders thus it is necessary to have regular blood tests while undergoing treatment. This medicine should not be used if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
