Navelbine 50mg Injection works by inhibiting the microtubule structures within the cell. Microtubule structures help cancer cells to divide and multiply. Inhibition of these structures slows the growth and multiplication of cancer cells.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional or vitamin supplements and herbal products that you are taking or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications tends to interact with Navelbine 50mg Injection and can cause undesirable side effects. 

• Keep Navelbine 50mg Injection out of sight and reach of children.
• Store in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C).

Navelbine 50mg Injection is administered into a vein by your healthcare provider. The dose and duration are decided by your physician, depending on the condition.  Do not self-administer. 

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. 

Serious

• Severe allergic reactions (rash, difficulty in breathing, swelling of eyelids, lips, face, or throat)
• Severe chest pain
• Severe low blood pressure (severe dizziness, lightheadedness when you stand up)
• Severe constipation with abdominal pain
• Major infection (cough, fever, chills)

Common

• Nausea, vomiting
• Low blood cell counts, weakness
• Hair loss
• Swelling or sores in the throat or mouth
• Injection site reactions (redness, burning pain, vein discoloration)
• Pain in the jaws, joints, and muscles
• Tiredness
• Diarrhea

It is suggested that women should use effective birth control for at least three months before starting and during treatment with Navelbine 50mg Injection. Male patients are advised to use effective contraception during therapy and three months after treatment to avoid fathering children.  Before receiving this Injection treatment, male patients should get advice on sperm conservation. Your doctor may take regular blood tests to monitor your blood cell count, platelet count, and liver function.
