Doctors also use Taxim injection for surgical infection prevention (surgical prophylaxis) because of its ability to reach multiple body sites, including the brain and spinal cord. Although it is generally well-tolerated, like all antibiotics, it may cause side effects in some people.

Individuals with known allergies to cephalosporins or any ingredients in taxim 125mg inj should not take this medication. Caution is needed in people with a history of gastrointestinal issues like colitis or those at risk for antibiotic-associated diarrhea. Serious Side Effects:

• Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea
