Temzol 100mg injection acts by inhibiting the production of genetic material (DNA and RNA) of the cancer cells, which results in preventing their cell growth and multiplication, thereby preventing cancer spread to other parts of the body.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with temzol 100mg injection and can cause undesirable side effects.

• Keep temzol 100mg injection out of sight and reach of children.
• Store protected from light and moisture.
• Do not store above 2-8°C.

This medicine is given only in a hospital setup by a healthcare provider. Temzol 100mg injection will be given to you by your doctor. It is given intravenously (into a vein). Your physician will decide the dosage and frequency of this injection based on the severity of your disease and other factors.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Serious:

• Secondary cancer like myelodysplastic syndrome and myeloid leukemia.
• Severe Allergic reactions
• Inflammation and fluid buildup in lungs
• Blood clot in lungs or legs
• Liver toxicity
• Convulsions
• Fever and chills
• Severe headache
• Uncontrolled bleeding

Common:

• Hair loss
• Rashes
• Tiredness
• Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
• Constipation
• High blood sugar levels
• Dizziness, impaired sensation, tingling sensation, abnormal taste
• Vision and Hearing problem
• Frequent urination
• Muscle damage, pain in muscles and joints
• Weight changes
• Infections and wounds
• Amnesia
• Abnormal blood cell counts
• Loss of appetite
• Sleep problems
• Memory loss
• Difficulty concentrating, changes in mental status and alertness
• Coordination problems

It is advised to use effective birth control for both men and women taking temzol 100mg injection. Women of reproductive potential must use effective contraception during and after six months of therapy. Male patients receiving temzol 100mg injectiontreatment should refrain from fathering children and should use reliable contraception during and for three months following the treatment. Your doctor could suggest routine blood tests to check your electrolyte levels, blood cell count, and liver function.
