TRANEMIC 500MG INJECTION

Introduction:

Tranemic 500mg Injection is used in adults and children above one year of age to prevent and treat bleeding due to a procedure that inhibits blood clotting called fibrinolysis. It is a potent and preferred choice for preventing or controlling excessive bleeding associated with fibrinolytic drugs, cardio-pulmonary bypass surgery, removal of tooth, tonsil or prostate and heavy periods in women.

Uses of Tranemic 500mg Injection:

• Prevention of hemorrhage in patients with hemophilia following tooth extraction
• Treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding
• Treatment of heavy periods in women
• Treatment of bleeding after surgical procedures.

How Tranemic 500mg Injection Works:

Tranemic 500mg Injection is an antifibrinolytic agent that inhibits the activation of plasminogen and dissolution of blood clot. When plasminogen is inhibited, the combination with fibrin does not take place which in turn prevents fibrinolysis.

Interaction with other drugs:

Use only under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional. For single use only. Discard any remaining portion of the injection after single use.

Safety Advice: 

Pregnancy:

Inform your physician before taking Tranemic 500mg Injection if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant.

Breastfeeding: 

Tranemic 500mg Injection passes through breast milk. Consult your physician for advice before breastfeeding.

Liver: 

Inform your physician before taking Tranemic 500mg Injection if you have liver problems.

Kidney:

Inform your physician before taking Tranemic 500mg Injection if you have kidney problems.

Driving:

Avoid driving or doing things that require concentration if you experience any side effects.

Allergies:

Inform your physician right away if you have allergic reactions to Tranemic 500mg Injection or its ingredients

Others:

• Inform your physician if you have diseases related to blood clots.
• Inform your physician if you have history of fits.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Serious:

• Severe allergic reactions
• Swelling or pain in the legs or chest
• Headache
• Weakness on one side of the body
• Blood clot formation

Common:
