Introduction to Valparin 200mg Tablet
Valparin 200mg Tablet is an anticonvulsant medication that belongs to a class of drugs known as sodium channel modulators, containing the active ingredient Sodium valproate. It is used to treat epilepsy, including various seizure types and epilepsy syndromes. Epilepsy is a neurological disorder caused by recurrent and unpredictable seizures, which are episodes of abnormal electrical activity in the brain that can lead to loss of consciousness, muscle spasms, convulsions, altered sensations, or changes in behavior. This medication can also be prescribed for bipolar disorder and migraines.
Do not use Valparin 200mg Tablet if you are allergic to Sodium valproate or any of its other ingredients. Individuals with porphyria (a rare condition affecting red blood cell breakdown), a history of severe liver problems, urea cycle disorder, or mitochondrial disorder such as Alpers-Huttenlocher syndrome should avoid this medication
