Introduction
Valsure 450 mg Tablet is an Antiviral with the active ingredient valganciclovir. It belongs to the medication group known as Antiviral (Non-HIV) drugs. After entering the body, Valganciclovir is converted into Ganciclovir, which fights viral infections. It is used to treat Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections of the retina of the eye in adults with Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). Cytomegalovirus infection often leads to vision problems and blindness. Additionally, it prevents Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections in adults and children who received an organ transplant from a person infected with CMV.
Do not take this drug if you are allergic to Valganciclovir, Ganciclovir, and its other ingredients. Inform your physician if you have a low blood cell count (WBC, RBC, Platelets). Notify your doctor if you have had any radiotherapy or hemodialysis (a treatment to filter wastes and water from your blood) or any conditions with your kidneys. Inform your physician if you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant. Use effective contraception during and even after the treatment; women should use contraception for 30 days, whereas men should use condoms for 90 days during and after the treatment. Discuss your fertility concerns with your doctor. Your doctor may adjust the dosage of Valsure 450 mg Tablet if you have kidney conditions. Your doctor may regularly take blood tests to monitor the blood count while you are taking the tablet.

How Valsure 450 mg Tablet works
Valsure 450 mg Tablet is an antiviral medication. After administration, liver enzymes rapidly convert Valganciclovir into Ganciclovir. Ganciclovir prevents viral growth by inhibiting viral DNA synthesis.
Interaction of Valsure 450 mg Tablet with other drugs
Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with Valsure 450 mg Tablet and can cause undesirable side effects.
