Visvin 30mg Injection is used in the treatment of the following:

• Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS)
• Acute myeloid leukemia (AML)

Visvin 30mg Injection promotes hypomethylation of DNA and cellular differentiation or cell death after phosphorylation, direct incorporation into DNA, and inhibition of DNA methyltransferase. It works by helping the bone marrow produce normal blood cells and by killing abnormal cells in the bone marrow.

Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, nutritional and vitamin supplements, and herbal products. Certain medications may interact with Visvin 30mg Injection and reduce its effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

• Do not store it above 25°C
• keep the injection away from the reach of children and pets.
• If you have missed any dosing appointments, inform your doctor and schedule immediately.

It will be given to you by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic setting trained in cancer chemotherapy. It is given as an intravenous infusion drip (into your vein). This will take one hour. Do not self-administer the injection. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment based on your disease severity, body weight, and other factors.

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all drugs cause side effects, not everyone gets them.

Common side effects of Visvin 30mg Injection are:

• Swelling in the face, hands, and feet
• Swelling and pain in the skin
• Discoloration of the skin
• Increased blood sugar levels
• Decreased albumin levels
• Abdominal pain, constipation
• Decrease in appetite
• Diarrhea, indigestion
• Nausea, vomiting
• Insomnia, dizziness
• Pain in limbs

Serious side effects of Visvin 30mg Injection are:

• Heart problems
• Anemia
• Infection
• Bleeding
• Fluid in the lungs
• Pneumonia

Male patient with a female partner of reproductive potential to use effective contraception during the therapy and for 3 months after the last dose. Report symptoms of infection, anaemia, or bleeding immediately to your doctor. Do not breastfeed during the treatment and for 1 week after the last dose. Visvin 30mg Injection may cause infertility in both men and women. Inform your doctor if you are planning for pregnancy before initiating the treatment. Visvin 30mg Injection may make you bleed, bruise, or get infections more easily. Take precautions to prevent illness and injury. Wash your hands often. Your doctor may advise you to take certain tests to check for the effectiveness of the therapy.
