Zelgor 500mg Tablet contains the active constituent abiraterone acetate. It is used in adult men to treat prostate cancer, which has spread to other parts of the body. It is usually given with steroid medication to lower the chances of side effects. When Zelgor 500mg Tablet is prescribed for an early stage of this disorder, it is used with testosterone lowering treatment. Zelgor 500mg Tablet is not for use in women or children. Effective contraception must be taken throughout the treatment.
Zelgor 500mg tablet contains lactose and sodium, inform your physician if you are lactose intolerant or on a salt control diet. You need to talk to the physician if you have liver problems, high blood pressure, heart disorders, low blood potassium, diabetes, allergic conditions, or other diseases. Make sure to inform your physician of all the medicines, including supplements and herbal medicines, you are taking before you start the treatment with this medication.
The most common side effects of this medication are fluid in feet or legs, high blood pressure, and diarrhea. A decrease in red blood cells and reduced sex drive may also occur with the intake of Zelgor 500mg Tablet. This medicine should not be taken with Ra-223, which is used to treat prostate cancer.

The drug works by inhibiting the production of hormone testosterone in the body. This can slow the growth of prostate cancer.

How to use Zelgor 500mg Tablet :
Zelgor 500mg Tablet should always be consumed as per the direction of your physician or pharmacist. The drug should be taken by mouth. It should not be taken with food. Swallow the tablets whole with water without breaking them. Food must be eaten at least 2 hours before taking the medication and must not be eaten for at least 1 hour after taking the medicine. Women who are pregnant or who may become pregnant should not touch this medication without gloves.

Liver:
Talk to your doctor if you have any liver diseases before taking Zelgor 500mg Tablet, as this medication is contraindicated in patients with severe liver disorders.
Driving:
This medicine is not likely to affect driving and the use of any tools or machines.
Allergies:
Stop taking Zelgor 500mg Tablet if you are allergic to it and to its ingredients.
Others:
Talk to your doctor if:
- You have an intolerance to sugars.
- You are on a salt-controlled diet.
- You have diabetes, heart disorders, high blood pressure, swelling in the feet, ankles, or legs, or other diseases.
Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medical treatment. Although all medicines can cause side effects, everyone will not get them.
