An adjuvant to general anesthesia during surgery for

• Skeletal muscle relaxation
• Facilitate endotracheal intubation
• Mechanical ventilation

When your nerves want your muscles to move, they release a messenger called acetylcholine. This acetylcholine fits into special receptors on your muscle cells, triggering the muscles to contract. When zyvec 10mg is present, it blocks this messenger, preventing the muscles from receiving the signal to contract and keeps them relaxed.

Inform your doctor about any prescribed medications, over-the-counter medicines, nutritional or vitamin supplements, and herbal products you take or have taken before the treatment. Certain medications may interact with zyvec 10mg injection and cause undesirable side effects. 

• Store zyvec 10mg injection below 25°C.
• Protect from light.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use it after the expiry date.

This medicine is given only in a hospital setup by a healthcare provider. Zyvec 10mg will be given to you by your doctor. It is given intravenously (into a vein), either as single injections or as a continuous infusion (a drip). Your physician will decide the dosage and frequency of this injection based on the severity of your disease and other factors. 

Side effects are unwanted symptoms caused by medicines. Even though all medicines cause side effects, not everyone gets them. If any side effects occur while you are under anesthetic, your doctor will see and treat them. 

Serious

• Prolonged paralysis (seen in long-term use)
• Bronchospasm/respiratory depression (difficulty breathing)
• Apnea (when you stop breathing)
• Anaphylaxis (sudden allergic reactions)

Common

• Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, and redness)
• Muscle weakness

This medication is intended for use exclusively within the hospital. Your doctor will administer it during your surgical procedure. While receiving zyvec 10mg injection, your doctor will continuously monitor you to assess its impact. It is important to note that this injection induces muscle relaxation, including your breathing muscles. This means you will require assistance with breathing (artificial ventilation) during and after your surgery until you can resume breathing independently. If you have any concerns or questions, always communicate them with your doctor before taking this medication.
