Introduction
Lupride Depot 3.75mg injection consists of the active ingredient leuprolide acetate. It belongs to the class of medicines called Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone (GnRH) agonists. This injection is used to treat prostate cancer in men, hormone-responsive breast cancer, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids in women, as well as premature puberty in children. Patients often ask how often is Lupride Depot 3.75 mg given, and it is typically administered once every month, depending on the condition and medical advice. Do not receive this injection if you are allergic to Lupride Depot 3.75mg or its ingredients, including goserelin and triptorelin. Lupride Depot 3.75mg decreases testosterone or estrogen production, depending on the treated condition. This helps to slow the growth of cancer cells, reduce the size of uterine fibroids, and alleviate the symptoms of endometriosis and early onset of puberty.
Interaction of Lupride Depot 3.75mg Injection with other drugs
Inform your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription, over-the-counter, nutritional and vitamin supplements, vaccines, and herbal products. Certain medications such as Quinidine, Procainamide, Amiodarone, Sotalol, Pain killers, and Antibiotics may interact with the effects of Lupride Depot 3.75mg and reduce its effectiveness by causing undesirable side effects.

Breast Feeding
Lupride Depot 3.75mg injection is contraindicated in breastfeeding women. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding before taking this injection.
Alcohol

Liver
