• Prostate cancer

• Hormone-responsive breast cancer in perimenopausal (around menopause) women

• Endometriosis (a painful illness in which the tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus grows outside of your uterus)

• Central precocious puberty (a child’s body begins to change into an adult too soon caused by a release of certain hormones)

Luprodex Depot 11.25mg injection decreases testosterone or estrogen production, depending on the treated condition. This helps to slow the growth of cancer cells, reduce the size of uterine fibroids, and alleviate the symptoms of endometriosis and early onset of puberty.

1. QT-Prolonging Medicines (Severe)
   Drugs like amiodarone, sotalol, or certain antipsychotics may increase the risk of abnormal heart rhythm when used with leuprolide. Use only under strict medical supervision.

2. Antidiabetic Medicines (Moderate)
   Leuprolide may worsen blood sugar control, reducing the effectiveness of insulin or oral antidiabetics. Regular glucose monitoring is advised.

3. Corticosteroids (Moderate)
   Concurrent use may enhance the risk of bone loss or electrolyte imbalance. Use cautiously with medical guidance.

4. Anticonvulsants (Moderate)
   Long term use of medicines like phenytoin or carbamazepine may reduce bone density, which can worsen with leuprolide. Monitoring is recommended.

5. Blood Pressure Medicines (Mild)
   Hormonal changes caused by leuprolide may slightly affect blood pressure control. Patients on antihypertensives should be monitored.
