Introduction
Orgonist tablet composition contains an active component called Relugolix, which belongs to a class of medicine called gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) receptor antagonists. Orgonist tablet uses for treating adults with advanced hormone-sensitive prostate cancer.
Inform your doctor if you have a severe kidney disorder before using the medicine. Consult your doctor if you have an allergy to relugolix or sodium or any of the ingredients present in them. Speak with your doctor if you have a bone disorder or weakened bone. How Orgonist 120mg Tablet Works
Orgonist 120mg tablet can competitively bind to pituitary GnRH receptors, thereby reducing the release of luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), which results in a reduction of testosterone levels in men with prostate cancer.
Interaction of Orgonist 120mg Tablet with other drugs
Taking Orgonist 120mg Tablet with any of the following medicines can change the effect of either of them and may increase the risk of side effects.
Cyclosporine (Oral Route) Life-threatening
Do not take together.
Concomitant use may reduce the absorption of cyclosporine and decrease its effectiveness, increasing the risk of organ rejection.
Warfarin or other oral anticoagulants (Oral Route) Life-threatening
Use only under strict medical supervision.
Orlistat may reduce vitamin K absorption and increase the risk of bleeding.
Levothyroxine (Oral Route) Moderate
Do not take at the same time.
Orlistat may reduce the absorption of levothyroxine and affect thyroid hormone control. A time gap of at least 4 hours is usually recommended.
Amiodarone (Oral Route) Moderate
Use with caution.
Orlistat may reduce the absorption of amiodarone and decrease its effectiveness.
Antiepileptic medicines such as Valproate, Lamotrigine, or Carbamazepine (Oral Route) Moderate
Use under medical supervision.
Orlistat may reduce the absorption of these medicines and increase the risk of seizures.

How to consume Orgonist 120mg Tablet
Take the Orgonist 120mg tablet as your physician advises. Usually, the tablets will be taken with or without food. Do not crush, chew, or open the medicine. Your physician will decide the correct orgonist 120 mg dosage and duration based on age, body weight, and disease condition. Only stop taking the tablet if your doctor advises you to stop.
