Regoside 40mg Tablet is a targeted therapy containing the active constituent regorafenib. It is used to treat colon cancer, rectal cancer, liver cancer, and gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) (a type of cancer of the stomach and bowel). Cancer is a disorder in which cells multiply in an uncontrolled and abnormal manner. 

Talk to your doctor if you have any liver disorders, infection, bleeding problems, stomach and bowel problems, chest pain, heart diseases, high blood pressure, persistent headache, seizures, or if you recently had or going to have a surgical procedure before taking this medicine. Regoside 40mg Tablet is not recommended for adolescents and children. 

Avoid drinking grapefruit juice while taking this medicine, as it can affect the way this medicine works. Use effective birth control during the treatment and for at least eight weeks after the last dose. Talk to your doctor if you are on a salt-controlled diet as Regoside 40mg Tablet contains sodium. Regoside 40mg uses are: 

• Colorectal cancer has started to spread to other parts of the body

• Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) (a type of stomach and bowel cancer)

• Liver cancer in adult patients who have already undergone treatment with Sorafenib (anticancer medicine)

Regoside 40mg Tablet binds to tyrosine kinase receptors and inhibits the VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor) and EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) receptors on the cell surface. By binding to these receptors, this medication blocks an important pathway that promotes cell division. This helps to prevent the growth and multiplication of cancer cells.

1. Strong CYP3A4 Inhibitors such as Ketoconazole or Clarithromycin (Severe)
   These medicines can increase regorafenib levels in the blood, raising the risk of liver injury and other serious side effects. Close monitoring or alternative therapy is advised.

2. Strong CYP3A4 Inducers like Rifampicin or Phenytoin (Severe)
   Such drugs can reduce regorafenib concentration, making the treatment less effective. Combined use is generally avoided.

3. Warfarin and Other Anticoagulants (Severe)
   Regorafenib may increase bleeding risk and alter INR values. Frequent monitoring of clotting parameters is essential.

4. Antiplatelet Medicines such as Aspirin or Clopidogrel (Moderate)
   Using these together can further increase bleeding tendency. Doctors assess risk and monitor closely.

5. QT Prolonging Medicines (Moderate)
   Drugs that affect heart rhythm may add to regorafenib related cardiac effects. ECG monitoring is recommended when combined.

6. Statins like Simvastatin or Atorvastatin (Moderate)
   Combined use may increase liver enzyme elevations. Regular liver function tests are advised.

7. Herbal Products such as St. John’s Wort (Mild)
   These can reduce regorafenib levels by increasing drug metabolism. Avoid use during treatment.

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Swallow the tablets whole with water. Do not crush or chew the tablets. Avoid drinking grapefruit juice while taking this medicine.

1. Inform your doctor before starting Regoside 40mg Tablet if you have liver problems, infections, bleeding disorders, heart disease, high blood pressure, stomach or bowel conditions, or if you are scheduled for surgery.

2. This medicine is not recommended for use in children and adolescents.

3. Avoid consuming grapefruit juice during treatment, as it may reduce the effectiveness of Regoside 40mg Tablet.

4. Women who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding should avoid this medicine due to potential risk to the baby.
