Sundae 2mg Injection Vial is used to:

• Manage type 2 diabetes mellitus: It helps improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes.

• Support chronic weight management: It may be prescribed for eligible adults with obesity or overweight with a weight-related health condition, along with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Sundae is not used for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.

Sundae 2mg Injection Vial contains Semaglutide, which activates GLP-1 receptors involved in blood sugar regulation and appetite.

It increases insulin release when blood sugar is high and reduces glucagon release. Semaglutide also delays stomach emptying and increases fullness, helping regulate food intake.

Tell your doctor about all prescription medicines, over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, supplements and herbal products you take.

• Insulin or sulfonylureas: Can increase the risk of low blood sugar.

• Oral medicines: Delayed stomach emptying may affect the absorption rate of some medicines taken by mouth.

• Other GLP-1 receptor agonists: Do not combine with another GLP-1 receptor agonist or semaglutide-containing medicine unless specifically prescribed.

• Warfarin or similar medicines: Closer INR monitoring may be required when starting semaglutide.

• Store Sundae 2mg Injection Vial at 2°C to 8°C.

• Do not freeze.

• Do not use if frozen.

• Keep in the original carton to protect from light.

• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

• Follow the product-specific instructions supplied with the vial after opening.

Use Sundae 2mg Injection Vial exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

Semaglutide is generally administered once weekly, on the same day each week, at any time of the day, with or without food. It is injected under the skin of the abdomen, thigh or upper arm.

The dose is usually increased gradually during treatment. The 2mg stated on the vial represents the total quantity of semaglutide in the vial and does not mean that the full 2mg should be injected at once.

Because this is a vial formulation, use it only after appropriate training from a healthcare professional. Do not inject it into a vein or muscle.

Common side effects of Sundae 2mg Injection Vial may include:

• Nausea

• Vomiting

• Diarrhoea

• Constipation

• Abdominal pain

• Headache

• Dizziness

• Indigestion

• Abdominal discomfort

These effects may be more noticeable when treatment starts or the dose is increased.

Serious side effects:

• Severe and persistent abdominal pain, which may indicate pancreatitis.

• Severe allergic reactions, including facial, lip, tongue or throat swelling or difficulty breathing.

• Persistent vomiting or diarrhoea, which may cause dehydration.

• Gallbladder problems, including severe abdominal pain, fever or yellowing of the skin or eyes.

• Sudden or worsening changes in vision, particularly in people with diabetic retinopathy.

• Low blood sugar, especially when used with insulin or sulfonylureas.

Seek medical attention promptly if serious symptoms develop.

• Use Sundae exactly as prescribed.

• Do not assume that the 2mg vial strength is your weekly dose.

• Do not change the prescribed dose without medical advice.

• Stay hydrated if you develop vomiting or diarrhoea.

• Follow your recommended diet and physical activity plan.

• Receive proper training before withdrawing and injecting medicine from the vial.

• Rotate injection sites.

• Tell your doctor about diabetic retinopathy or vision changes.

• Inform your doctor before surgery or deep sedation.
